Structure
Board:
Carlsbad residents comprise the Carlsbad Charitable Foundation Board of 19. They oversee CCF work product and processes.
Members:
Individuals or businesses may become members of the CCF See How to Support. Members vote each year for the local projects they deem most worthy of funding. While encouraged, there is no fundraising, event planning, or volunteering required of donor members.
Committees:
Members are encouraged to participate on CCF committees including Membership, Grants, Events, and Marketing. See How to get involved.
Allocation of Funds:
- Each year, half the membership financial commitment is allocated for local grant making. This non-endowment fund is charged a fee of 1 percent.
- The other half is allocated to the permanent endowment fund, minus a fee of 1.5 percent
